Operational responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining our next generation of high-availability clusters both edge and at various cloud providers (GCP or AWS), including features such as automated provisioning of network-attached block storage to satisfy persistent volume claims, usage reporting and in-cluster security policies.
• Responsible for all networking, storage and compute hardware provisioning and configuration to support LXCs or k8s.
• Creating and testing disaster recovery plans for: block storage/filesystems, network-attached storage (NFS and cloud-equivalents) and for S3-compatible storage.
• Your work in the backup/restore area will involve a working knowledge of maintaining PostgreSQL performance and consistency.
